Well here we go again, another 53 weeks lie ahead of us.

If anything this next period will be more difficult than the first, if only because doing something again is often more difficult than setting out to do something the first time.

They say you should start as you mean to go on, so at the last minute on the Sunday afternoon (before the light faded), I walked up to the Belvedere Palace to shoot this.

I do hope you like it!

  1. Stunning picture — the grey tones and the clouds are so evocative of a cold, damp, dreary (but beautiful!) place.

  2. Wonderful blog full of wonderful images. I love the hard lines of this building softened by the arches and the grass.

I wanted to let you know that I’ve nominated your blog for The Versatile Blogger Award. You can check it out here: http://photobella.wordpress.com/2012/01/23/the-versatile-blogger-award/

  20. Irony… When you get a (at least to myself) great shot of a snow-covered bench in the morning, and find a blog that featured benches for a year. I love it, and look forward to witnessing the progress of this new project.
